詳述文學和藝術/ Discussing Literature and The Arts
These terms are used to discuss novels, plays, music, paingings, architecture (建築學), and other forms of literature or art.
characters (n.) 演員、角色
A person portrayed (扮演、表現) in a work of art, such as a novel, play or movie.
- The hero is the chief character in the play.
climax (n.) 高潮
The most exciting part of a play, piece of music, etc. that usually happens near the end.
- The climas of the play comes in the last act when the hero wins out over the villain (反叛角色).

昨天腳 踏車壞了，要去上課前才發現輪胎扁扁的，沒辦法騎出門。
於是，先生帶我去上GED的課，再由同學送回家。
先生下班拿著新內胎，才拆開輪子準備換上，
發現新內胎的打氣孔型式不一樣，買了不一樣的。
他喝過兩罐啤酒，不想再跑一趟商店換過，即使前後只需要三十分鐘。
而隔天是十點鐘的課，現在就得找人帶我去上課。
打電話問同學，她說要上全天班不去學校。

這個蛋糕有點像「水果磅蛋糕」的變形，換上美國南方特色的綠番茄。
加上番茄和葡萄的味道非常爽口好吃，一點也沒有磅蛋糕的重口味。
美國人喜歡在家裡後院種點蔬菜，番茄是最受歡迎的好養植物，
番茄快變紅色熟成前摘下就是綠番茄，進入夏天的六月底開始收成。
比較特別的是，美國南方人有很多綠番茄的食譜喔。

基本文法/ Basoc Grammar Terms-
GED stand for the tests of General Educational Development. Passing the GED is equivalent to getting a hight school diploma. The GED is made up of five tests. One is the Writing Skills Test. In that test, you'll show your knowledge of sentence structure, grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

今天收到學校寄來的通知單，提醒暑假結束了。
圈起來的部分是我的課程，下面是老師寫的，「Hope see you soon!」加上一個笑臉當簽名。
這是GED
(Tests of General Educational Development)的課程，一般稱為高中同等學歷的考試，給曾經失學的成人回到學校再進修，或像我這樣因結婚等因素，而住在美國的人也可以讀，通過測驗可以申請大學(college) ，或職場的升遷。
